Frequently asked questions
Is the output ready to publish as-is?
Treat it as a strong draft. The structure is guaranteed valid, but the tool only sees your homepage and a sitemap sample — review the summary for accuracy and add or reorder links you care about before uploading.
Can the AI make up pages that don’t exist?
No. The AI writes the descriptions, but the final file is reassembled from URLs actually discovered on your site — any URL the model invents is discarded before you see the output.
What if my site has no sitemap?
The generator still works from your homepage and any page URLs you list manually in the form. You will get better section coverage with a sitemap, though — our Sitemap Checker can help you verify one.
Is there a usage limit?
Yes — generation calls an AI model, so runs are limited to a few per minute per visitor. If you hit the limit, wait a moment and try again.
How do I publish the file once I’m happy with it?
Download it (or copy the text into a file named llms.txt) and place it at your web root so it loads at https://yoursite.com/llms.txt as plain text. Then run it through the llms.txt Validator to confirm the structure.
